Being an island nation, New Zealand has many miles of coastline, and beaches. Perhaps, the most fascinating beach is on the South Island, home to a geologic treasure known as Moeraki Boulders.

According to an ancient Maori legend, the boulders are gourds washed from the great voyaging canoe Arai Te Uru when it was wrecked at nearby Shag Point (Matakaea) some 1000 years ago, while searching for the precious stone of Te Wai Pounamu"

http://www.traditionalphotographer.net/Articles.aspx?Article=6

Please feel free to pass along any comments or suggestions.

10 Practices for Better Landscape Photography

I've published a new article titled "10 Practices for Better Landscape Photography". The article is an almost total re-write of an article I did a couple of years ago. I tried to take the practices I've developed over the years and present them in a way that may help others.

http://www.traditionalphotographer.net/Articles.aspx?Article=3

As always, your comments and feedback are welcomed. They can only help me do a better job and produce more readable articles.

Nikon F6 - A Film Camera for the Digital Age

I've published my new article, "Nikon F6 - A Film Camera for the Digital Age".
