It is too bad that more Australian photographers aren't known. I found out about Warren's work in the December 2007 issue of B&W Magazine (US), and looking at his website, I see a photographer dedicated to using film. Being a fan of Australia, it is always a pleasure to find people such as this. I plan on bookmarking his site and visiting more often - I'm especially keen on his Blue Mountains gallery, a place I hope to visit soon.

His website is located at: http://www.warrenhinder.com/

An old Hasidic story says we should wear a coat with two pockets in order to receive God's message. In one pocket, the message is: "You are nothing but one of billions of grains of sand in the universe." In the other, the message is: "I made the universe just for you."

I just wanted to mention that Warren is now a member of this forum. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can learn from him.

He does. You should see his gallery. Excellent work, a lot of images of the Blue Mountains among other places.

Thanks for telling us, his images are great.

As I mentioned in another thread, my "hero" is infact an Australian photographer - Frank Hurley.
