There will be a site outage tomorrow, May 8th. This will be a major update, and the site may be unavailable for a couple of hours. I'll detail all of the changes tomorrow after I complete the update.

Thanks,

Robert

I've been making a number of changes to the site today, which I hope everyone finds useful.

I have an extremely slow connection to the site, not sure why. I've complained in the past to my provider, but they tell me the issue is between California and Hawaii. Regardless, I'm still working on the, so if you experience any issues let me know. This was a major update; I touched almost every page on the main site, as well as some on the forum itself.

First, no doubt you have noticed the site banner now at the top of the forum pages, along with the new menu structure. I've wanted to do this for a long time, but wasn't happy with the software I was using for the menu. I've got something that works much better now. This means, you can easily go from the forum to the main site and back. I'll be adding new menu items, primarily for the forum, over the coming weeks, so it isn't complete yet.

  • There is one new page, and one page completed; Site Map and RSS Feed. You can get to them from the footer menu at the bottom of each page.
  • All the Resource items have been redesigned, with a new grid pattern.
  • The front page of the site has been revamped, with a lot more graphical content.

The next major update to the site will include a beta version of the new Member's Gallery. Soon, you will be able to upload images, similar to what we have done at other sites. That is a major piece and is still a long way from being complete.

Thanks for you patience,

Robert
