Hi, might as well introduce myself. I'm 53 and have been in the darkroom since 8th grade, so thats somewhere around 40 years. I'd been doing my own b/w until the mid 80's and then got a job in a custom lab and never looked back. I learned color printing and all those other fun things you do in labs to save photographer's jobs. I ended up printing at a couple of labs in NYC and things where going nicely until I found out I'm diabetic 10 years ago. That slowed down the printing until I lost a leg 5 years ago. That ended it for awhile. Now I've just finished setting up a nice b/w darkroom and am trying to make some money at it again. Digital is interesting but I like the smell of acetic acid in the morning.

| Hi John, Welcome from Hawaii. I'm glad you decided to join us. That bum leg won't stop you from clicking the shutter, so I'm looking forward to what you can share with us. BTW, I'll be 53 in a few weeks - where did all the years go?
