As all of us know the old PX-13 is gone for many reason's not here to debate that! My question is how much damage does one cause by use-ing the newer replacement batteries which in my case would be the Z625PX ! For my gossen light meter and my canonet QL17 GIII

or does one need to have the equipment serviced to adapt to the newer battery! all answers are appreciated:

Hi Lauren,

Most likely you will not cause any damage. The problem is the voltage difference causing inaccurate readings. What I have done is purchased hearing-aid batteries that are 1.35 volts and put some stuff around them to get a snug fit in my light meters and cameras.

Check this out it might be an option you can use.
