During this time TraditionalPhotographer.net will be unavailable for approximately 15 to 30 minutes. This outage is necessary to perform the reconfiguration required to add a second internet backbone connection to the hosting services network in their California data center.

roteague - Big Island, Hawaii Trip

I'm going to be taking a much needed trip to the Big Island of Hawaii on March 14th for 4 days. I'll be staying at the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel, which is located at the foot of Mauna Kea, whose summit reaches to 13,796 feet (4,205 meters). In fact, when measured from its base on the ocean floor, Mauna Kea is the tallest mountain in the world (31,796 feet/9,691 meters), surpassing Mount Everest (29,035 feet/8,850 meters)!

I'm planning on spending the time photographing in the Kailua-Kona area, with stops at Waimea town, Kealakekua Bay, Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park, and other places.

I'll try to check email and visit the site, but can't promise anything.
