I suppose it has gone through an editorial or ownership change, because a few years ago a lot of the images were more like toy camera/Holga/Diana style square format, and it had a really neat, funky, less sophisticated alternative style to many other photo pubs. There for a while I thought I would shoot color just to get out of a funk... tried it with my little digigizmo before I went and bought 8x10 transparency and chemicals..... all of the shots looked so ordinary you woud think I had just picked up my first camera last week... :)

It was good practice though. Color photography for me is waaaayyy harder than what I do.. :)

RE: SHOTS magazine call for work.

Perhaps, someday I'll even shoot some B&W... ;) Who knows. :hehe:

RE: SHOTS magazine call for work.

Well, kind of, color shots are reproduced as black and white. So it might not be a great choice for color photographers, but if you get published it is one step towards promoting yourself. To be honest, the magazine is not very well printed, but it does have some interesting work form time to time...

RE: SHOTS magazine call for work.

Thanks Jorge, I'll take a look at this.
