I don't have very many images loaded yet just because it takes soooooo long to keyword each image. Do any of you guys have anysuggestions on a faster way to keyword? I understand that I need to keyword each one but is there a better way than copy/pasting from a text file and then tweaking each one?

D.

Marketing Plans for Photographers

Should a photographer have a marketing plan?

I was listening to a local radio show on Sunday night, called "The Business of the Arts", where they discuss various business subjects for artists. This Sunday, they discussed marketing plans for photographers. The question came up about having written marketing plans. I know that I don't, although I do have an idea of what my target audience is.

So, do you have a written marketing plan, and have you found doing so to be a valuable asset to your business?

Poster Pricing

I've been asked to provide this image

For a poster, A3 size, for a New Zealand bus company. It would be for a 1 year use. I was considering US $400, but don't have a copy of the latest ASMP guide. Unfortunately, I don't have a good (drum) scan of the image, so, depending upon time, I would need to have it scanned.

What do you think?
