How about, to spice things up we each commit to posting one new picture each week and maybe, just to make it more interesting, post a special technique used to take/print the photograph.
Maybe here we can show case the strenghts of film and the cameras we choose to use without some idiot telling me that he can do better with his dslr and stitching than I can with my 8x10 and contact printing....

Great idea. I'll start working on something to post.

You lazy ***! We don't need a gallary, we can start a thread on this forum named "the weekly shot" and just post it from a hosted site. Right off the bat you need to find an excuse to sit on your butt.....pretty soon your Hawaian shirst ain't going to fit you keep going this way..

The gallery is coming, I'll have some more updates this weekend. However, this is a major piece of programming and will take at least another couple of weeks before I'll have it up for beta (which means working the bugs out). We will have to live with the current suggestion until then.

Why don't you show those Yahoos what you could do by stitching together 2 or 4 8 X 10s.

Well I did, I mention that if we were going to talk about quality they can do only 1 shot with their dslr and I do 1 shot with my 8x10. That if they wanted stitiching, then I would 4 or 5 shots and stitch them otgether and see who got the bigger file (since it seems this is their measure of quality)..... got no response.
BUt you know, I am tired of it, it seems this has become the predominant opinon in the LF forum, this is why I don't visit there as much anymore.
