Listening to Brooks Jensen and his Podcasts again has got me to thinking about how others view photography. So, my question is "Is photography more than a hobby for you?"

Photography is very much a lifestyle, and passion for me. I find that even when I'm not actively engaged in taking pictures, I'm reading or thinking about it. I can't think of a period in the past 20 years where this was not the case. Even during periods where I wasn't photographing much, when I lived in Arizona for example, I was still involved in it in some way. When I lived in Arizona I was very much involved with learning the programming business, but funny, the personal projects I worked on were all photography related. I got back into photography when I moved to Hawaii.

I agree, a passion and a lifestyle. I've been having some creativity issues lately with my busy work schedule and not sleeping so much, but not a day goes by where i don't think about photography. Last night i had a really good printing session that kind of got me back on track...amazing how that happens
