What articles are you interested in? I think each of us could do some locations specific stuff, I on all the different countries I've photographed in, around Alberta and the Rockies and Jorge on Mexico etc etc.
Also how about how-to articles? Are you interested in those as well?
How are they getting vetted and who is doing the final editing? Can we include photos?
Does the content remain the property of the writer? ie: if I want to submit the article to a magazine etc.
Just some thoughts.

| Hi Eric, My thoughts were that the articles would be anything related to traditional photography; including how-to, equipment reviews. That would also include travel articles; I have a couple I plan on doing myself. Basically, it is wide open. I personally have two equipment articles in progress, an article on Photographing the Seashore and possibly a short travel piece on either Australia or New Zealand. Even, trip reports would be welcome. The basic idea to remember, is will the article help traditional photography - that is the only criteria. The author would be responsible for all the writing and editing (unless you ask for help), and of course, the author would retain the copyright - the site would only get the rights to publish the article on the site itself, or in a future newletter. Naturally, the author would have to right to submit the article anywere else they want, or use articles already published (assuming they haven't signed away all the rights). The author would also be able to submit all photo they would like. For the short term, I would do all the HTML layout of the article, with the author having the final say over the placement of images, sidebars, etc. In the future, I'll have a means where the author could post using a program like Microsoft Live Writer (it is free).

PhotoBob (12/31/2007) Would you consider article that have been published already?Sure, as long as you didn't sign away the rights to publish it on the web.
