Just a little bump. Has anyone seen this film available anywhere yet? It is October.

Not yet. I checked B&H, Freestyle and Calumet a couple of days agon Calumet did have it in their listing, but no shipping date or price attached.

An old Hasidic story says we should wear a coat with two pockets in order to receive God's message. In one pocket, the message is: "You are nothing but one of billions of grains of sand in the universe." In the other, the message is: "I made the universe just for you."

Adorama has it in their on-line catalog now, for $4.49 a roll.

Thanks Rick,

I wasn't aware of Pictureline. I checked out their site and put my email address down for them to notify me when it is in stock. I hope to be able to try some out when I get back from my upcoming trip.

Thanks for the heads up,

I just ordered 4 rolls from Freestyle. I should have it sometime next week. I'll figure out a good test for it, then post the results. I should have it done by the middle of November I think.

Great! I will be ordering some too. I also noticed it's under $5 a roll. Not bad. I hope it turns out to be a good alternative to slides. I would love to wet print some stuff.

Well, I got my Ektar 100 yesterday, and I've got the F6 ready to shoot a few frames after work. Any suggestions on subjects?

BTW, for those who don't know, the top of the box says "World's Finest Grain". It isn't clear in the pictures.

Shoot something you would, or have already shot with Velvia. That way you have something to compare to. Not that it would be the same but some sort of baseline.

I'm planning on shooting a comparison between Ektar 100 and Velvia 100 this weekend, assuming the weather cooperates.
