Those with a love of old churches, will love this gallery of images, taken from the state of Texas:

http://www.texaschurchproj.com/

I was born in the state of Texas, but grew up elsewhere, so I always saw the state through the eyes of a visitor. I remember seeing a lot of these old churches, when as young boy, my family would travel through the state every summer to visit family. This site brings back many happy memories.

An old Hasidic story says we should wear a coat with two pockets in order to receive God's message. In one pocket, the message is: "You are nothing but one of billions of grains of sand in the universe." In the other, the message is: "I made the universe just for you."

Thanks, Robert - I (we) appreciate the notice about the project.

Your response is exactly what the project is all about, helping to preserver in our on small way the parts of Texas that could be gone with the next storm, fire or other disaster.
