Traditional photographer and industrial archaeologist, working almost exclusively with LF -5x4 & 10x8 as well as 6x17. After 20 years shooting industrial landscapes my work is shifting towards more traditional archaeological landscapes.

Also occasionally collect prints from internationally known artists, (inc Jorge).

Many names here are already familiar so hi

Hi Ian,

Welcome from Hawaii. I'm glad you joined us. You have some fascinating subjects to photograph; I envy you. I once had the opportunity to visit the Roman ruins in Jerash, Jordan and have been fascinated by such things ever since.

An old Hasidic story says we should wear a coat with two pockets in order to receive God's message. In one pocket, the message is: "You are nothing but one of billions of grains of sand in the universe." In the other, the message is: "I made the universe just for you."
