Jan108 is the title I am giving to the series of images I made this morning.
Well, out early this morning to Flemings Beach, Esquimalt - lands end with the strait of Juan de Fuca separating my home and native land from the United States.
The weather was cool and windy and overcast but for the spread of orange where the sun would have been.
It was spectacular with the waves crashing big-time into the rocks, made for some dramatic photography.
I first of all put together my ZeroImage 4x5 and exposed 5 sheets of Efke IR film. Focal length: 75mm; f/216
Next I made some images using my ZeroImage 6x9 set at 645 (more images that way, thus a little cheaper to operate).
Why IR you may ask ... well, I ran out of time for foliage and had the holders already loaded, so I figured I'd give this a try.
Hope I get some decent images.
It was a quiet morning ... oh, yeah saw another guy out with what looked like a 4x5 camera, nice to know there are still large-format film users in this little part of the world.
Take Care,
Bob

Gee, I wish I was there   The weather is better here, but a lot of times I like being at the edge of the weather; it makes for some dramatic skies, and dramatic images.

Efke IR? I wasn't aware they made IR - I guess I should pay more attention to such things. I have used Efke PL100 in the past, but had problems with it due to the humidity here.

I'm looking forward to seeing some of your images from the trip, and to learn more about the film.

Isn“t the Efke IR-film pretty much the same as the old Maco IR820?
