| I would like to announce our Featured Photographer for April 2008. This month, Travis Nunn has agreed to be in the spotlight. He has submitted a wonderful color image of a Great Egret taken at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge in Virginia (http://www.fws.gov/northeast/chinco/) on a Canon 35mm, with Fuji Velvia film. Travis' image is a wonder of simplicity. I'm also excited, because this is the first image we have had that isn't a landscape image - it shows that great wildlife work can be done on film. This image will come up automatically, beginning on 1 April, California time. As always, my goal is to highlight photographers from different areas, doing different types of work, wherever possible. There are so many good photographers here, and I will be asking those who haven't been asked in the future. Shortly, I'm going to be asking for larger images from those that have already submitted images the past few months. I've got the Featured Member page almost done, but the images I have (except from Travis) are too small to show off effectively. This will be a Flash presentation, and I think everyone will be happy with it. Thanks to everyone for participating in this,
