eric rose (4/3/2008) Exactly what I do. I have done it both ways and find the premixed to me just fine. Using pyro is shrouded in all kinds of BS mysticism. It's brain dead easy to use and very forgiving. My second choice would be Xtol.Would you happen to know anyone that does commercial film processing using Pyrocat? I've used Praus in the past, but they primarily use Xtol. I've got a project I want to do in B&W.

I'd do it for you but I think it would be impractical given customs issues etc.

There is a place here called the Ka Iwi Coast, with its background of Koko Crater that I think would be a great subject in B&W (I have shot it in color as well). http://www.hawaiiweb.com/html/koko_crater.html
